Headlight Restoration
I have a Volkswagen Jetta and for the past year had noticed that my headlights had a yellowish film to them. Since my car was only 3 years old at the time, I called the dealership thinking this repair would be covered by the warranty. They told me it was a typical problem and not covered by warranty. They referred me to a place that would clean and polish the headlights for $125. Thinking that was a little steep, I postponed getting the work done. Recently a co-worker passed along a flier for Dave’s company and I gave him a call. Dave came out to my house, worked on both headlights and now they are bright and clear and look almost brand new [and he charged half of what the other company charged.] I would recommend Dave and his company to anyone.

Quality Work and Attention to Detail

Dave and Austen did work on both of our Honda vehicles (an Accord and an Odyssey). The cars were pretty messy since I commute up to 20 hours per week and my wife takes our 2 daughters everywhere in the Odyssey. I'm sure they found their share of goldfish and granola bar remnants in both cars. Given the condition of the cars when they started, I was amazed to see both cars in show room condition when they were finished detailing them. From the drivers seat, the cars look (and smell) brand new. The interior was spotless and the stains on the carpeting that I thought would never come out were GONE! I literally felt like I was driving a car that I just bought. Then I looked under the hood and was even more impressed with the quality and attention to detail that Dave and Austen put in to our cars. They have earned my business and my highest recommendations.

Have Your Car Pampered While You are out of Town
When was the last oil change or that last Saturday-morning grooming? Not much time to see to car care with so many days in the wild blue: And back home agian, you want the car handy, not off being bathed and lubed. Detailing is the name for that sort of attention to cars that people expect at the spas; both are rejuvenating, expensive and time consuming.

One morning it struck me: The little Sidekick had been looking a bit down in the wheels, definitely neglected: dust thick on the air vents, dried mud on the floor mats, who knows whats under the seats. The exterior hadn't seen water applied intentionally since the declared shortage.

Before I left the Sidekick, I phoned ahead to learn something about the service. Even a car edging into its teens deserves to have its day-care attendants checked out.

David McElroy is a fresh-faced young man from Portland, Ore. He and his wife moved to NM and enterprisingly, found a hole and filled it. An experienced detailer, he custom-fitted his van with the necessary tools and equipment to make house calls for car care.

My Car was done to a T: The vinyl bra had been removed, cleaned under and replaced. The paint glowed. The wheels looked new, the tires smartly black. The oil had been changed, the wiper fluid topped up. The carpets were resuscitated, the air vents breathing and grime free.

Did the Sidekick actually ascend La Bajada with more verve? I think if it had a mane, it would have tossed it!

I had opted for the whole nine yards - $150 for a full detail and $39 for the oil change. But with no downtime and a really good job! To help his customers maximize their fuel economy, Dave also checks and adjusts tire pressure at no extra cost.
